Natalee-Antoinette Johnson is an author, Registered Early Childhood Educator, Child and Youth Worker, and Ontario Teacher. She has a private practice as a child, youth and family specialist and community advocate. Natalee has served children, youth and families in diverse communities for over 15 years. She continues to challenge the status quo and uses her skills and knowledge to challenge social injustices and advocate for equity and equality.

Jeff Sowa, Rising Sun’s Mentor Program Director – Ontario

Jeff is a Project Manager with approximately 9 years of experience managing and delivering public and commercial real estate and office renovation projects; his educational background is in Business Project Management. He has grown his career upwards from project coordination to program leadership. He is innately in-tune with the various levels of roles and duties involved in project management, which makes him an exceptional leader. Jeff is the director of the Rising Sun’s Mentor Program.

Anthony Blay-Morkeh

Anthony Blay-Morkeh is a seasoned compliance professional with over 15 years of experience in the banking industry, currently serving at Canada’s largest financial institution. Throughout his distinguished career, he has honed his expertise in various facets of banking, with a particular focus on compliance, risk management, and innovative problem-solving. Known for his solutions-oriented approach, Anthony thrives in complex environments where strategic thinking and collaboration are key to achieving success.

A lifelong learner and advocate of self-improvement, Anthony credits his professional achievements to the invaluable guidance of mentors and community leaders who shaped his journey. With a deep commitment to giving back, he actively mentors emerging professionals, sharing his wealth of knowledge and experiences to inspire others to reach their full potential.

Passionate about excellence and leadership, Anthony is dedicated to fostering a culture of integrity and growth within his industry and beyond. Outside of his professional life, he cherishes quality time with family and friends, finds fulfillment in staying active through sports, and embraces the balance of a well-rounded life.

Jonathan B. Mugisa

Director of Rising SUn's Mentorship PrograM - British Columbia

Jonathan B. Mugisa is a doubly-awarded Business Consultant & Coach, Social Entrepreneur, Speaker, and Facilitator with extensive experience in strategic planning, organization design & Strategies, and Leadership transformation across Africa and North-America. He has worked with several organizations, including UN-SDSN, Robert Bosch Stiftung (Germany), Fraser Health, and TELUS, Federal Government institutions, to name a few; optimizing the human capital and revamping organization’s operations & strategies. A sought-after Speaker brought in by organizations, including Harvard University, US Embassies, International Conferences spanning from Asia, Europe, Africa and North-America.

He has dedicated his work to peace-building in the Great Lakes region for close to a decade, using entrepreneurship to empower youths and promote social inclusion and diversity. Over the past 5 years, he has worked extensively with Black entrepreneurs in North America, leveraging his international and multicultural experience to broaden their operations, increase their turnover, and streamline strategic cooperation and partnerships in their various industries.

Besides his consulting work, Jonathan advises startups and has invested in tech startups in Africa. His recognition as a Hansen Leadership Institute’s Fellow, Robert Bosch Stiftung Alumnus, Ashoka Fellow, and Department of State’s Young African Leadership Initiative’s Alumnus testify to his expertise and commitment to his work. Jonathan is currently on board of a number of organizations in Canada, he coaches and consults with Executives, Companies and organizations spanning from Japan to Jamaica, while focusing on his family from British Columbia.
